A big racket like ‘The Kerala Story’ has been exposed in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. It is alleged that two Muslim sisters are involved in this racket, who sometimes become friends and sometimes take the role of sister-in-law and sister-in-law to trap Hindu girls. Both of them, along with their lovers, have physically exploited many Hindu girls. Many Hindu girls are in contact with this racket and many suspicious WhatsApp groups have been found in their mobiles, which contain photos of many girls. In such a situation, the police suspect that this gang might be luring the girls into prostitution in the name of jobs and high profile lifestyle. Police have arrested the racket mastermind Amreen alias Mahira, her Muslim lover Chandan Yadav and alleged sister Afreen and taken them on remand. Police are searching for three other accused Bilal, Yasir and Chanu involved in this gang. At present, two girls have filed a case together, who are originally from Chhattisgarh. After this gang is exposed, some more girls are likely to come forward and lodge a complaint.
It is alleged that this gang used to target Hindu girls from poor families and befriend them and in the name of jobs, took them under their control and used to bear the expenses of high profile lifestyle. As soon as the girls from poor families got interested in the high-profile lifestyle, the racket used to take them to pubs and parties and force them to have physical relations with the rich people of big houses i.e. do prostitution. This racket has supplied many girls to Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

Used to trap girls by giving them Hindu names
Bagsevania police station in-charge Amit Soni said that three accused are being interrogated by taking them on remand. The mobile phones of the accused have also been confiscated and the names of some more suspects have come to light. Investigation is being done at all points. Soon some more accused will be arrested.
The victims have told in the statement given to the police that Chandan Yadav, the live-in partner of the racket mastermind Amreen alias Mahira, has also changed his religion and become a Muslim. He has kept a Hindu name to establish trust among Hindu girls.

How beautician was trapped in the quagmire of prostitution and religious conversion
The first victim is a 23-year-old beautician from Mungeli area of Chhattisgarh. On 31 December 2024, at a friend’s birthday party in a hotel in Shahpura, he was introduced to a girl named Afreen by a Hindu girl. The said friend of the beautician had asked the Hindu girls to be friends with Afreen on the pretext that they would be given a lot of respect and love by the Muslim boys and girls. Whereas the said Hindu girl of the beautician has herself converted to ‘Jannat’ and is currently living as the wife of Amreen’s adopted brother. In January 2025, the beautician and Afrin started living together with gangster Amreen alias Mahira.

Who raped the first victim and where
Chandan raped the beautician for the first time in August 2025 at his sister’s house in Narayan Nagar. After this, in November 2025, Amreen took her to her parents’ house in Abbas Nagar in Gandhi Nagar area, where her brother Bilal made her drink intoxicating drink and raped her. In December 2025, Amreen took the beautician to Ahmedabad citing personal work. There a young man named Yasir raped her. After this, the victim left Bhopal in January 2026 and went to live with her maternal uncle in Raipur. Between August 2025 and January 2026, Chandan raped the beautician several times at Amreen’s Sagar Royal Villa house and other places in Bhopal.

kept the second victim in her house and forced her into prostitution
A 35-year-old woman met racket leader Amreen in a mall during Diwali in the year 2024. The said woman lived in Ashoka Garden, Bhopal with her two small children. Divorced from husband. She is originally from Chhattisgarh. Amreen first employed the said woman in his house for two months. After this, he was kept in the duplex located at Sagar Royal Villa on Hoshangabad Road. After this Chandan raped her. Then persons named Yasir and Chanu used to come to meet Amreen and rape the said woman. Later, when she started being sent to Bhopal to have relations with other youths, she left her work and went back to Chhattisgarh with her children.
Three accused were caught, the rest are absconding
In this case, till now the racket’s mastermind Amreen alias Mahira, Afreen, who sometimes calls her friend and sometimes sister, and Amreen’s live-in partner Chandan Yadav have been arrested. All three are on remand of Bagsevania police. Amreen’s brother Bilal, mouth-talking brother Chanu and Ahmedabad resident Yasir are absconding. The second victim was raped by one or two other youths, their names have not been revealed. Police have so far registered a case against six accused on the complaint of two victims.
