There was an important meeting on the issue of peace establishment and two-nation solution in Palestine at the United Nations. In this meeting, India’s permanent representative P. Harish said that first of all it is most important to reach human assistance in Gaza. He said that politics and struggle should not come in the way of human help. P. Harish said about the two national solution that both countries should talk directly on this issue.
‘Both sides should be prepared for direct conversation’
In his address to the United Nations, P. Harish said that now our efforts should be focused on how to bring a bi-state solution through dialogue and diplomacy, and how to celebrate the two sides to interact directly with each other. The issue of humanitarian aid needs immediate attention. People have been upset for a long time in Gaza. Thousands of people have been killed and many have been injured. Many hospitals or are destroyed or interrupted. Children in Gaza have not been able to go to school for 20 months.

The Indian Ambassador further said, ‘Humanitarian aid in Gaza should continue without any hurdle. In Gaza, people should have easy access to food, fuel and other basic needs. It is very important to maintain life and it should be kept out of politics and struggle. He said that ‘India’s Gaza is a clear attitude on the war that there should be a ceasefire immediately, people should get human help without any hassle and bottleneck, the release of all the hostages and the dialogue and diplomacy can be solved. There is no other option other than these.
