Security agencies in Jammu and Kashmir have issued an alert regarding a possible terrorist conspiracy before the anniversary of the Pulwama terror attack. Terrorist organizations may try to carry out some major crime around these dates.
According to sources, security forces have been asked to be especially alert around important establishments, crowded markets and convoys of security forces. Security has been tightened in various districts from Jammu to Kashmir division. Anti-terrorist operations are already going on in Kishtwar, Udhampur and Kathua in Jammu division.
Meanwhile, the input of the security agency has further strengthened the security arrangements. Pulwama terrorist attack took place on 14 February 2019. Police and other security forces have intensified checking operations. Additional checkpoints have been installed at sensitive locations. Officials have appealed to the general public to remain alert and immediately report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station.
