Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that NDA will get a big victory in the upcoming assembly elections of West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. He said that people in every corner of the country have rejected Congress and its allies. Shah was addressing a program of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation here on Sunday. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various projects including three sports complexes costing Rs 1,500 crore. He announced that after the 2029 World Police and Fire Games and the 2030 Commonwealth Games, Ahmedabad will also host the 2036 Olympics.
The Home Minister said, today from this platform I want to tell West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin to be prepared. After Bihar, it is NDA’s turn in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. Will also register big victories in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu, where elections are to be held next year. He said that from 2014 Lok Sabha elections till 2025, it has been a period of continuous victory for the BJP. Congress has been wiped out in Maharashtra, Haryana, Delhi and finally Bihar. After the results, TMC and DMK will be wiped out in Bengal and Tamil Nadu respectively.
Targeted at Rahul Gandhi
Shah took aim at opposition leader Rahul Gandhi’s allegations regarding voter lists and EVMs. He said that even though BJP and NDA allies have formed the government in Bihar with two-thirds majority, Rahul Gandhi is saying there are irregularities in EVMs and voter lists. The truth is that the people of the country are not accepting the Congress and its alliance partners.
Opposition has neither leader nor policy
The Union Home Minister said that under the leadership of Narendra Bhai, the people have resolved to achieve all-round development in every area of the country and make India a great nation. In contrast, the opposition parties have neither a leader, nor any policy, and they have no acceptance in any corner of the country.
Construction of Sita Mata temple soon
He said that after the completion of the construction of Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya and hoisting of the saffron flag on its peak, the construction work of the temple dedicated to Sita Maiya in Sitamarhi, Bihar will start soon. Shah said that he and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had performed the bhumi pujan of a temple dedicated to Sita Mata at her birthplace four months ago. He said that this temple will be built at the same place by 2026.
