Three youths were killed and two were seriously injured in a head-on collision between two motorcycles late Wednesday night near Bhagatpura village on National Highway-56 in Banswara district. The deceased include Aaron son of Jeffrey, resident of Senawasa, Ramesh son of Kodar Katara and Khoma son of Babla Charpota (resident of Palodara). Rama s/o Gautam Dayama (Palodara) and Virendra Prajapat (Senawasa) were injured in the accident, who have been admitted to the hospital.

Aaron’s father Jeffrey was also among those who reached the spot after the accident. He was helping in taking the injured and dead to the hospital. Little did anyone know that his own son was also included among them.
He could not recognize his son due to serious injuries and blood on his face. When Jeffrey returned home at night, he received information from the police that a young man killed in the accident was his son Aaron. On hearing this, the family started crying badly.

Aaron had returned from Jaipur only on Wednesday morning. He had gone to attend a religious program for five days. After getting down from Jaipur Road, he reached home and told his mother Kiran that he was going to his home in Mission Compound, Banswara and would return after 5-7 days. No one had any idea that this would be his last conversation with his mother.

12th class student, family was not aware
Aaron was studying in 12th class. After reaching Banswara, he told his elder brother Joel that he was going to meet a friend. In the evening he met his friend Vijendra and both of them left for the village on bike. The accident happened near Bhagatpura village. The parents at home were relieved thinking that Aaron was in Banswara, while he was battling for life on the road.
Administration took information about the situation
As soon as information about the incident was received, District Collector Inderjit Yadav, ASP Dr. Rajesh Bhardwaj, Deputy Gopichand Meena, Kotwal Roop Singh, Sadar Police Station Officer Budhram Bishnoi and SDM Sonu Kumari reached Mahatma Gandhi Hospital. He inquired about the condition of the injured and assured all possible assistance to the families. The injured youth have been referred to Udaipur, where their treatment is going on.
