Politics has started in Bihar on increasing the incentive amount of Asha and Mamta workers. Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav also took his credit on this and said that I had started the process of increasing the incentive amount of Asha and Mamta workers as a health minister for 17 months, which was in the last stage but by then the government and the Chief Minister were habitually overturned. This poor NDA government has been sitting on him with a horoscope for two years. Now finally they had to bow down to this demand to increase the incentive amount of Asha and Mamta workers.

Please tell that on Wednesday morning, CM Nitish Kumar has announced to increase the incentive amount of Asha and Mamta workers. CM Nitish Kumar said that ASHA workers will now be provided an incentive amount of three thousand rupees instead of one thousand rupees. Besides, Mamta workers will be provided an incentive amount of Rs 600 instead of Rs 300 per delivery. This will further boost their morale and will strengthen health services in rural areas.
