The Indian women’s visually impaired team won the historic title by defeating Nepal by seven wickets in the final of the first Women’s T20 World Cup played in Colombo. After the victory, the Indian players ran on the field waving the tricolor and an atmosphere of celebration was visible. While receiving the trophy, captain Deepika TC replicated the famous celebration done by Harmanpreet Kaur after the recent Women’s World Cup win.
