The dispute over drinking water while standing near the bride on the stage escalated so much that the bride refused to marry her beloved groom. The marriage procession returned empty handed and a case of dowry harassment was registered against the groom along with his mother. The bride and groom loved each other and knew each other for two years. The family members were ready for their marriage, but before the wedding ceremony, there was so much dispute that the marriage procession returned empty handed.
This dispute took place during the marriage at Kosthi Samaj Dharamshala on MG Road. Groom Gaurav Mathe scolded the photographer who was drinking water near the bride on the stage. The photographer apologized, but Gaurav slapped him. When the bride and her father explained, the groom Gaurav became angry at the bride and started cursing the bride and her family for giving light jewellery.

After this the groom also snatched the bride’s gold earrings. This thing displeased the bride and she decided not to marry. The bride’s father told that he is a caretaker in a private hospital. We had taken a loan and got married as per the wish of the daughter, but seeing the groom’s appearance, we felt that the daughter would not be happy with him. Ultimately we had to break the relationship. In this case, on the complaint of the bride’s father, a case was registered against the groom Gaurav and his wife Taruna for assault and demanding dowry. The footage of the dispute that took place during the wedding was also handed over to the police.
