Reaction of Lok Sabha Speaker and Kota MP Om Birla on the accident
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla tweeted, ‘The incident of building collapse in Indravihar, Kota is very sad. I am in constant touch with the district administration. I have instructed the concerned officials including the District Collector to expedite relief and rescue operations. Also, I have directed him to ensure that all those injured in the accident receive proper and prompt medical treatment. I pray to God for the speedy recovery of all the injured and wish to provide strength and patience to the affected families in this difficult time.

Injured identified
According to CMHO Narendra Nagar, the injured were identified as Sudita (30) resident of Kota, while Shalin Suvasya (25) resident of Kunhadi, Mohammad Jahangir (30) resident of Mahavir Nagar, Bhupendra (40) resident of Rangbari, Purab Meena (24) resident of Jai Hind Nagar, Borkheda, Subhash Nagar resident of Talab, Naved (20) resident of Subhash Nagar, restaurant owner Mohammad Jahangir and Mohammad Sabir resident of Jharkhand. Occurred in the form. Rescue team employee Rocky Daniel was also injured in the accident.

What did the Divisional Commissioner of Kota say on the accident?
Kota Divisional Commissioner Anil Kumar Aggarwal said, ‘Two deaths have been reported. We have received information about 13 people being injured. According to the information, a new construction work was going on, which collapsed from top to bottom. This may happen due to negligence related to the quality of construction. Some local people say that drilling work was going on there and there were complaints about it. The reasons will be further technically investigated and the results will be shared.

Collector told the reason for the building collapse
Kota Collector said that there was an old building next to the building that collapsed. It was broken. Because of this there was a problem in the foundation of the building. This is the primary reason for the accident. After further investigation it will be known what was the reason for the accident? The rescue operation is still going on.

So far 15 people have been rescued from the debris.
Two people have been confirmed dead in the building collapse incident in Kota. So far 15 people have been evacuated from the incident site. 13 people injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital. At the same time, two people suffered minor injuries and have been discharged from the hospital after first aid.

Lok Sabha Speaker and Kota MP Om Birla’s OSD Rajiv Dutta said, ‘This is a very unfortunate incident. The entire administration reached here as soon as the information was received. Every possible effort is being made to rescue the stranded people. There is a possibility of 2-3 more people being trapped, all possible efforts are underway to rescue them.”

Kota’s Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Narendra Nagar said on the accident, ‘Our team is examining every patient coming to the emergency department. He is being admitted to the Medical College and Trauma Hospital. The exact situation will be known only after the debris is removed. The entire administration is present here. Our teams are on alert mode.
