US President Donald Trump has said that the second phase of the Gaza peace plan will be started as soon as possible. He made this statement while hosting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at his private residence Mar-a-Lago in Florida. This is the second consecutive day that Trump has met the leaders of war-torn countries.
During the meeting with Netanyahu, Trump clearly said that the disarmament of Hamas is very important for lasting peace in Gaza. He said that we have to work quickly on a peace plan for Gaza, but for this Hamas will have to give up its weapons. Trump also indicated that the reconstruction of Gaza could begin soon.

Before arriving at Mar-a-Lago, Netanyahu also met with US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
