Vinfast Auto India (Winfast Auto India), an Indian subsidiary of VINFAST (Winfast), Vietnam’s electric vehicle -making company, has opened its first showroom in the country. The showroom has been opened in Surat city of Gujarat and has been launched before the inauguration of the company’s first electric vehicle plant in India. The showroom is the company’s first part of the company’s plan to open a total of 35 dealerships in 27 cities by the end of 2025.

Great experience will be found in showroom
The showroom is spread over around 3,000 square feet. And the company claims that customers will get a better product experience, easy vehicle purchase process and AFTR-SALS support. The showroom will feature Winfast’s premium electric SUV range, which includes VF6 and VF7, especially. The special thing is that the company has started pre-booking of these two models in India from July 15. Customers can book these vehicles by paying an amount of Rs 21,000. Which is completely refundable on cancellation of booking.

Production plant being built in Tamil Nadu
Winfast is also preparing its first electric vehicle manufacturing plant in India. The plant is located in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu and local production of electric vehicles will be done here. For its expansion in India, Winfast has partnered with companies such as Rodgrid, MyTVS and Global Assure. So that EV charging network and strong structure of service support can be created across the country.

The company’s big expectations regarding India
Winfast Asia CEO Fam San Chow said at the inauguration of the first showroom that this first showroom of Winfast in Surat reflects the company’s deep commitment to India. He said, “We are very excited by bringing the experience of Winfast closer to people in India. Through this dealership, we want to give a complete ownership journey not only with credibility, quality and best service.”

He also said that the company, along with reliable partners like Chandan cars, is moving towards making a future-Reddy EV ecosystem in India.
