A giant drone was found lying in a field on Monday morning in Baharampur Badhli village under Babugarh police station area in Hapur, UP. People going to the farm saw the drone lying in the field and informed Babugarh police about it. Babugarh police reached the spot and instructed the villagers to stay away from there, the forensic team was also called to the spot. Later investigation revealed that the drone belonged to the army, which was being used in some survey. However, before this there was an atmosphere of panic among the villagers.

According to the police, the villagers saw a big drone flying in the village around 10:30 pm on Sunday night. Due to which panic spread in the village. On Monday morning, when the villagers were going towards their fields, they saw a giant drone lying in Azhar’s field. The villagers informed the Babugarh police.

Mudaffra outpost in-charge Vinod Kumar May reached there with the police force, understood the villagers and removed them from there and started investigation. The drone found in the field weighed around 50 kg. Forensic team was also called for investigation on the spot and the drone was taken into possession and thoroughly investigated.

After much effort, it was found out that the drone belonged to the Army and it was flown from Babugarh Cantonment Cantt for some survey etc., which suddenly went out of range. CO Varun Kumar Mishra said that the army officers have been informed about the entire matter.
